Here we met to discuss details for our collaboration with the talented students from this school. Playing music with them will be a highlight of the trip.

These stairs trigger musical notes as you walk up and down. They lead to the Haus der Musik, a fabulous exhibit on music acoustics and the classical masters of Vienna.

You get to compose in this exhibit. Based on Mozart’s musical dice where you choose your own order of measures to create a dance piece. Then you get to hear it performed with orchestra.

Awe-inspiring cathedral in Prague with magnificent stained glass windows.

This dates from the 10th century! Right across from the huge St. Vitus Cathedral, this makes for a dramatic change in architectural aesthetics.

This 1st printed edition of Beethoven’s 3rd is in the Lobkowicz Palace in Prague. Prince Lobkowicz commissioned the piece and produced its first reading in Vienna, with Beethoven conducting. This Palace in Prague has priceless Beethoven manuscripts, including the original parts to the 5th symphony.

A true wonder. This gorgeous clock measures moon phases, the seasons, and many other time cycles. People gather at each hour to hear it chime and watch the mechanical saints.

This world-class concert hall is where we will have our final performance on the tour. Its reverberant acoustics will amaze you!
