AudioMaps® let you become the expert listener you've always wanted to be.
What is an AudioMap?
An AudioMap is a chart that depicts the narrative of a musical work from beginning to end in a series of framed events. AudioMaps do not rely on musical notation. Instead, simple graphics and text with names of the themes names clarify the musical structure as the piece progresses. AudioMaps represent the events of an entire musical movement on a couple of pages. You can learn to read them in about 15 minutes and then follow the music with the same comprehension and enjoyment as the musicians playing it.
This first volume includes AudioMaps for the entire Beethoven Symphony No. 1, including a narrated recording of the symphony on piano that easily guides you through each AudioMap. After listening through the narrated recording, listen to the symphony again following the AudioMap on your own without the narration and you will find that you are following the music with a deeper understanding and enjoyment.
Digital Product includes PDF Booklet and two mp3 recordings of the Beethoven Symphony No. 1 , one narrated and the other keyboard solo.
